Barbie and Midge were looking over the paper.
"First day since the pregnancy I get a day off," Midge moaned.
"Hmmmm," Barbie responded politely but uninterested in her
best friends moaning. She opened the paper to the movie page. "Do
you want to see a movie?" she asked.
"What a great idea!" Midge exclaimed.
"Okay what about Matrix, it is supposed to be good?"
"Seen it," Midge remarked.
"Okay what about Terminator 3 with Arni?" Barbie
smiled. "That face," she sighed.
"That body," Midge remarked wistfully. Both woman looked at
each other, "that accent." They both said in unison and broke into
laughs.
"Make up can do wonders," Barbie said. "But maybe it would be
better to remember him as he was."
"Allen, would be heartbroken if I saw that without him
anyway." Midge agreed, "the first movie we saw together was
Terminator."
Barbie raised an eyebrow, "that must have been some date."
"Your the romantic," Midge retorted, "and I enjoy a good
action movie."
"Finding Nemo?" Barbie said getting a little more exasperated.
"I promised Ryan..." Midge began.
"Then you pick one!" Barbie yelled throwing the paper at her.
"Why don't we just rent one and spend a night like we did when
we were young?" Midge asked realizing that she had upset her friend.
Barbie immediately brightened.
"What a great idea!" she exclaimed and both girls walked out
the door excited.
